About The Students
About Us
FRC team 1307, also known as The Robosaints, is a competitive high school robotics team. Each year, we get a new challenge and work together to build an innovative robot that can compete at the highest levels. The team has three main departments: Mechanical, Software, and Business. Each department is overseen by a student department leader, while the team president provides overall guidance and direction. New students are always welcome to join our team and are encouraged to move around between departments to gain a well-rounded experience, and to find what they are good at and enjoy most. As juniors and seniors, students have the chance to run for leadership positions within the team. While the team is provided funding for competition registration by St. Thomas Aquinas High School, all of the costs associated with building and competing are covered by the team's fundraising efforts. Last season our business department raised over $14,000, a record for the team!

Camden Chesley '27
President
Cam joined the team in his freshman year and quickly proved his strong fabrication and CAD abilities. He rose to Mechanical lead during his sophomore year, where he developed his leadership and management skills. By his junior year, he had become a key figure in the team's success, and was elected team president. As president, he oversaw the greatest fundraising effort in team history, and brought home the first district victory in over 5 years.

Dominic Meyers '28
Mechanical Department Lead
A current junior at STA, Dom joined the team at the start of his freshman year. He very quickly established himself as a key member of the mechanical department and was integral to the design and fabrication of several key subsystems. During his sophomore year, he took on a leadership role and helped mentor newer members of the team. His strong leadership skills are informed by his background with Scouting America, where he is a member of the Order of the Arrow. As sophomore, he joined the Drive Team, where he has been a key voice on team strategy and networking. He was the driver behind the team's victory at Pine Tree in 2026.
John Riddle '27
Software Department Lead
John has been a key part of the software department since early in his freshman year. His work developing the team's knowledge of the Limelight system and computer vision broadly has brought the team's autonomous capabilities to new heights. His advanced auto code played a large part in the team's 2026 victory. John is also a member of Scouting America and the Order of the Arrow, which has helped him develop strong leadership skills that inform his approach to team management.
Savannah Senter '27
Business Department Lead
Savannah is the Business Department Lead for the 2027 season. She is responsible for managing the team's finances and ensuring that all business operations are running smoothly. During the 2026 season, she secured record funding for the team.
